Compassionate, non-medical in home care for disabled adults and seniors
Our highly skilled certified professional caregivers offer nonmedical caregiving services to help disabled adults and seniors with tasks of daily living, up to 24 hours a day throughout Santa Clara County.
The goal for Home Care Services is to increase the quality of life for both the dependent seniors and their family caregivers in the home. We provide the services needed to maintain the level of independence with the changing needs of a senior, allowing them to stay in their home safely.
We create a custom care plan for each client that includes services such as:
- Light housekeeping
- Meal Preparation
- Personal & Hygiene Care
- Overnight Assistance
- Respite Care
- Medication Reminders
- Conversation and Companionship
- Offering subsidized rates for clients who qualify
The most qualified in home care providers
Catholic Charities hires only skilled home care providers who are Certified Nursing Assistants and/or have completed a Geriatric Home Care Aide course with at least two years of home care experience. We also conduct regular quality assurance visits by an our Care Coordinator to assure the best customer service, safety, and support.
Adult Day Care
Adult Day CareOur Adult Day Care Centers in San Jose & Sunnyvale offer activities for socializing with other seniors (gardening, baking, art, music, games); light exercise; memory exercises; and Alzheimer’s & dementia care.
This program offers respite to family caregivers with extended hours for working caregivers so that they may take care of personal activities.
Day Break Cares Adult Day Care Centers offer much-needed respite so you can work, take care of personal business, or rest. Your older loved one will receive excellent care in a comfortable, safe environment.

Senior Wellness Centers
Our Senior Wellness Centers’ has extensive arrays of cultural enrichment, nutrition, health and psychosocial programs that foster health and wellness for seniors by ensuring that their physical and emotional needs are addressed early to stave off future challenges. We offer physical activity programs, healthy lifestyle education, as well as community resources and preventative services.

Monday through Friday, staff and volunteers prepare and serve an average of 271 hot, nutritious noontime meals per day to seniors so that they can readily access other needed services and socialize within the community. The meals are fresh, appealing, culturally based, and professionally designed for maximum nutritional value. Our on-site cook follows a monthly menu approved by a nutritionist from SCC to ensure the meals meet 1/3 of the recommended daily nutritional requirements for seniors, to contribute to their health and well-being.
How about some breakfast at the Morning Cafe? Join us for Coffee, Tea, and a light Breakfast Monday – Friday from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m
Feel free to join us for Lunch! We serve hot, nutritious meals to seniors (age 60+) five days a week in a social environment at our two senior centers Monday – Friday 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Our Brown Bag program is once a week and we provide market style fresh food to seniors and families free of charge.
